Learn to relax this spring with Restorative Yoga!!
Restorative yoga is a gentle and passive practice that allows your body and mind to enter rest and digest mode. All day long your body and mind are exposed to stress, some good some not so good. In the end, we cannot tell the difference, the sympathetic nervous system is engaged, aka fight flight or freeze. When we reside here for most of our waking hours it can really take a toll on overall health and wellness. Digestion slows or stops completely. Heart rate and blood pressure increase. Cortisol is produced. Muscles become tense and rigid.
Be honest with yourself for a moment… Do you know how to relax? Do you view relaxation as a waste of time or “lazy”?
Most of us do not spend enough time in rest mode. Most of us cannot remember how to engage our bodies and minds to reach the relaxation response.

Join me for our Spring session beginning Sunday, April 16th. Class begins at 8:30 am, will last for 1 hour, and will leave you feeling ready to start your week!
