Summer is fast approaching!! And we are all gearing up to be out on the Lake or in the River! Lets talk Brazilian Waxing!!!
Getting your bikini area waxed by a professional can truly be a “treat yourself” moment. Most women find themselves more pleased with the results of waxing over other temporary hair removal options like shaving, epilation, and hair removal creams.
There are many benefits to waxing, here are just a few.
Smoother Skin! Because you are removing hair from the root and exfoliating the skin, after a wax, you’ll probably find that your skin is now among the smoothest things in your life.
Ditch your Razor! Since your hair is being removed by the root, it will
take much longer to grow back than with shaving.
Changes your Hair Growth! When your hair does grow back after waxing, it will grow back weaker, making it finer, softer and sparser.
Less Irritation! No more Razor Burn..(ouch) Many people find hair removal methods like epilation and hair removal creams irritating to the skin. However, waxing rarely causes this problem if it’s done by a licensed professional.
We get so many questions about Brazilian Waxing this time of year.
So here is everything you may be wondering about this Service.
How should i prepare for my Wax?
Hair must be 1/4 of an inch long to wax. Exfoliate we the day before or the day of your wax. Avoiding caffeine for about 5 hours before your appointment will greatly reduce sensitivity. Caffeine restricts the blood vessels so skin is not getting as much blood flow which increases sensitivity. We also carry topical anesthetic which you may purchase and apply 30-45 minutes before your appointment.
How often should I Book my Appointments?
Consistency is key. Everyone grows at different rates. Between 4 & 6 weeks.
How long will my Wax last?
If you have been shaving, there may be a transition period. It generally requires 2-3 consistent waxes to balance out growth patterns which leads to about 3-4 weeks of hairlessness, softer hair, and less hair growing back.
Can I get Waxed on my period?
Yes! But you may be more sensitive. To avoid this, schedule appointments for just after your cycle ends.
How long does is it take?
About 20-30 Minutes. After you have been waxing for a while you know the routine and things move more quickly. For first time waxers, appointments may last a bit longer. We have been where you are, we are gentle & patient!
What kind of wax do you use?
This is our most asked question about waxing! We use hard wax (Stripless wax) for Brazilian Waxing.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes! We do not take walkins, however we can on occasion accommodate same day appointments. Book Your Appointment
