Lets talk about Acne Treatment.
This is the first time i have shared my before and after pictures publicly. My acne was so bad for so long that once I was able to clear it, I never wanted to look back. I actually had to get these pictures from my family because I have none of my own from this time.
I struggled with acne
all through my teen years. I tried everything over the counter, nothing worked. At 14 I saw a dermatologist and was prescribed “a miracle cream”, you know the one, supposed to be a cure all!! While I saw a small improvement I was left with red, itchy, irritated skin all the time. I still had acne, but it was just Hormones and I would grow out of it as I got older,
said EVERYONE! My acne treatment just wasn’t working and my skin was not getting better.
Fast Forward 10 years, I still had Acne, but now it is much worse and is leaving scarring everyday. Despite having a very positive outlook on everything, I hated my skin.
I began trying everything I could. Over the counter acne meds. Coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, dandelion root, green tea, and so many more. None of them worked and many of them made my skin much worse and more sensitive.
Changing my Approach to Acne Treatment
In 2014 I enrolled in Esthetics School. Even with Weekly facials in class, my skin only slightly improved. After graduation i spent over a year studying Acne and taking classes. In 2018 I became a Certified Acne Specialist and began my Final skin clearing journey. Within 6 Months my skin was completely clear after more than 15 years of breakouts and failed acne treatment.
I finally understood my skin and my acne. I stuck with my routine and my treatment schedule because I was seeing results and my Skin felt great along the way.
I now Love my skin! And I want you to love yours!
